The Board, Management and Staff of Produce Monitoring Board (PMB) whose headquarter offices are located at 10 Lightfoot Boston Street Freetown mourn the death of the fire victims of a fuel supply tanker that exploded at the PMB Wellington area in Freetown on November 5th 2021, which claimed dozens of lives, caused severe casualties and many properties destroyed.
PMB sends its heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who perished in this unfortunate fire disaster. We pray for those injured and hospitalized for a speedy recovery.
We believe the Government of Sierra Leone is committed to supporting the injured and our brothers and sisters that we lost have been given a dignified burial. We believe the Disaster Management Agency and its plethora of partners will continue to work collaboratively to forestall such and similar disasters in the future.
May God rest the souls of the departed in perfect peace.
