THE CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST UNDER THE SIERRA LEONEAN COMPONENT OF THE WEST AFRICA COMPETITIVENESS PROGRAMME (WACOMP)

Are you a smallholder, MSME or cooperative working in primarily (but not only) the cocoa, cassava and or palm oil value chains in Sierra Leone? UNIDO is launching a call for expressions of interest to identify interested potential beneficiaries!

The call for expression of interest falls under the Sierra Leonean Component of the West Africa Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP), “Increasing Sierra Leone’s competitiveness through enhanced productivity and trade compliance in selected value chains” and is funded by the EU.

The objective of this initiative is to facilitate the acquisition of equipment and/or adequation of premises in order to enhance productivity, and quality compliance, or in order to comply with national or international technical/hygiene regulations and/or standards. 20 beneficiaries will be selected and receive up to EUR 9,000 per entity.

Interested candidates can reach out to us at wacomp.sierra-leone@unido.org to obtain further information on qualification criteria, submission of a proposal, evaluation, and overall execution process.
